Accessibility Statement
New Home Builder Portland wants its website to work for visitors who rely on screen readers, magnifiers or a keyboard instead of a mouse. We hold the site to WCAG 2.1 at Level AA and test each page again whenever it is edited.
Should the quiz, a map or another part of the site block you, email [email protected] or phone us so we can repair it. Everything the forms do can also happen in a phone call, from describing your land to booking a first meeting.

A family planning a new house deserves a website it can read and use, whatever device or assistive tool it brings. Here we name the standard behind this site, the features it already has, the limits we know about and the quickest way to report a problem.
Who This Statement Covers
New Home Builder Portland is a Legacy Construction company, and this statement applies to its website, newhomebuilderportland.com. We treat accessibility as a requirement when a page is first written and again whenever it is edited.
The Standard We Work To
We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 from the W3C, at Level AA. Full conformance is not something we claim, since any review can miss a barrier, yet the guidelines decide how we handle layout, color and code.
What Is Built In
- A clear heading structure on every page, plus link wording that names its destination
- Written descriptions for each photo that carries information, a visible label above each contact-form field, and photo cards in the quiz that are built as standard checkboxes
- Text colors that pass Level AA contrast, a consent window that opens and closes by keyboard alone, and animation that halts when your device requests reduced motion
Known Gaps
Our interactive town maps remain clumsy for screen reader and keyboard users. Every pinned town is repeated in a text list of links on that page, so nothing is lost if you skip the map.
The contact page includes a Google map and a link for directions, and those carry Google's own accessibility record. Our phone number and office address are printed as text on that page too, and the email address is given here.
Reporting a Barrier
Let us know the page where you hit trouble and the task you were attempting. Email [email protected] or phone the number in the site footer, and we will find what went wrong and repair it.
Other Ways to Reach Us
A phone call can stand in for any form on this site, so a stubborn form never has to hold up your plans. Give us your town and tell us whether you own land yet, and a first meeting can be arranged during the call.
Reviewing This Statement
We review this statement after any significant change to the site. The current version carries the date shown at the top.
